How to sponsor the awards

The new RCI Pitched Roofing Awards is a unique event tailored to acknowledge and reward excellence for all those working within this dynamic sector. Never before has the industry had the opportunity to be a part of a niche awards ceremony which identifies all external products associated within the pitched roofing sector. The awards categories are open to all manufactures and their contractors so no matter how big or small the project is we would like to receive your entry to be carefully analysed by our panel of expert judges and be in contention to win an award for one of our 17 categories.

Award ceremonies create a fantastic buzz, pre, during and post event and as such provide manufactures an excellent opportunity to obtain kudos amongst their peers by partaking in one of our comprehensive sponsorship packages available, these packages provide a detailed marketing programme in the run up to the event, brand awareness during the day, and even after the awards within our post event feature which will announce all the winners and sponsors within the December issue of RCI magazine.

The Pitched Roofing Awards is truly something our industry can and will be proud so if you would like to be a part of this specialised event please contact Tony Brown for sponsorship opportunities.

Judges

Meet the judges

The role of the judge:
The judging process for the Pitched Roofing Awards 2018 will rely on the expertise of an impartial panel of industry experts, whose background and experience cover the full spectrum of the pitched roofing sector to ensure that the judging process is objective and fair.

How will the judging process work?
The judges will assess all the relevant submissions and support material submitted via the Pitched Roofing Awards website. They will then submit their shortlist of entries in each category to the non-voting chair, RCI’s editor, Nichola Farrugia.

The second stage will involve a final meeting with the judges, which will take place in October in London. Here, the judges will discuss and debate the merits of each entry based on the criteria listed for each category and will allocate points to their winning entry.

In the case of scores being equal, the judges will discuss tied entries once more and if no decision can be reached, the chair will then cast her vote.

Please note that RCI magazine and the panel of awards judges will not enter into any discussion regarding individual entries and/or awards winners. The judging process is strictly confidential to ensure that the judging process is fair.
